What are your Fees?

Psychology Services in Alberta are generally not covered by Alberta Health Care. Receipts for fees paid for counselling services will be issued at the end of your counselling session and these can be submitted for full or partial coverage by most extended health care benefits insurance programs (Blue Cross, Sunlife, Manulife etc.). Contact your employer for further details. We can also direct bill some insurance plans (ASEBP, Great West Life), please inquire with our office Manager (Bonnie) prior to your first session. Individual sessions are generally one hour while couples and family sessions may vary.  Initial (intake) sessions with couples and families are generally 2-3 hours. Rates for psychological, educational and return to work assessments vary. Currently accepting Cash, Cheques and Credit Cards (Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover).

You don’t need a doctor’s referral, self referrals are welcome.

Are your services covered by Extended Health Care Plans?

Please contact your insurance company to inquire about the terms of your policy. Financial assistance may also be available through Employee Assistance Programs. If your insurance company allows us to direct bill, we would be happy to do so for you; please bring your insurance information to the first session or call the office administrator (Bonnie) to set this up prior to the first meeting. Please note that psychological services are considered a Tax-Deductible Medical Expense.
